TangoRail Railings fitted to TangoLok Post Systems
Before starting work check:-

•You have all components and fixings.
•That you know whether this is a TR800 product (EN1176-1 compliant) or a standard TR700 Bow top.

IF the product is a TR800, the panels should be fitted to the posts so that the top horizontal rail is no more than 50mm from the top of the post. Also, if there is a pedestrian gate on this job, make sure you know how to adjust the Self Closing Mechanism.

1. Before fitting panels to posts make sure you fit the anti-sag tubes to the panels and that the 150mm deep holes for sag tubes are dug in the correct position.

2. Secure the end post into the ground, plumb, backfill and ram.

3. To avoid scratching the post, ease open the TangoLok collars and slide them into position. It's best to mark all of the posts and position the collars on the posts before offering the post to the panel.
Special Tip:- The dome head of the bolt must be on the attack' side for security fencing and on the 'play' side for playground fencing.

4.Locate at the end of each rail a ‘security widget’. They are simply attached by rotating the hook from underneath the rail into the pre punched hole in the rail.
Push the rail with widget attached into the TangoLok collar, then fit the 70mm bolt through the collar and widget. Finger tighten the snap-off nut. If the panel is a cut end, drill a hole 20mm in from the end of the rail to accept the widget.

IT IS NOT GOOD PRACTICE TO CUT INTO A HOOP, SO AVOID DOING THIS IF YOU CAN.

Special Tips:- Use a 50mm block to space the fence panel off the ground. Tie your line to the lower bolt head. Tie the other side to a peg at the end of the fence run, at the same distance from the ground. This will give you the position of lower collars along the fence line, ensuring the tops of the posts are all level.

5. Slide 4 collars onto intermediate posts in the correct positions.(See fig 2.) Once in the post hole, push the post/collar assembly into the first panel and tighten the nuts. Once in position concrete the post in and ram. Repeat this along the fence line. 6. When you are happy with the line and level adjust the anti-sag tubes so that the panels are dead square.
Special Tips:- Before you snap off the permacones, push the panel well home into the collar. Adjust the panels dead square at the end of each fence line, or at the end of your working day.
Note. If panels are not adjusted dead square, you customer may not be happy with the fence system as installed.

7. To achieve any change in direction, simply swivel the collar to the required position.

Special Tip:- For additional security at corner posts, drive a tech screw or similar through the TangoLok collar, into the end of the Rail.
